Information

The Strike Missile is one of the Draconian technology weapons that is obtainable through salvaging Tier 1 Draconian Cargo Salvage Fleets, such as Level 17 and 23 Draconian Cargo Fleets. The Strike Missile comes with three varients, which is the Strike Missile D51-N, D51-L and D51-A. The D51-N and the D51-L is almost the same, but the D51-L exchange accuracy for range. The D51-A however, exchanges damage for range. Compared to the Cutlass Missile, they have much shorter range but however comes will better reload time, accuracy, weight and build time. Excluding the D51-N, they are generally better than any forsaken missile with the possible exclusion of Cutlass IVs. To unlock it's full potential, you would want to put the Enhanced Warheads, Laser Targeting and Solid Fuel Boost on it. Prior to the June 2014 update they had little use in early game and only limited use mid game, but is often seen on the Missile Cruiser X with the Seige Missile D55-F, which used to be of the most popular base hitting missiles. Now with the introduction of the D51-B, the Stike Missile is very much in favor and in use on many top tier hulls.

Additional Facts

  • They recently received an overall upgrade in the weapons update (June 2014?).
  • Strike Missiles deal Building Damage equal to twice their normal Damage.
  • Some players prefer Cutlass Missiles to strike missiles due to the increased range which leaves more room for error if trying to outrange weapons.
