Resources play a major role in Battle Pirates, as they are used in nearly every aspect of gameplay. There are four main resources (Oil, Metal, Energy, and Zynthium) and one bonus resource (Gold).
Resources can be gathered by attacking Draconian salvage fleets, resource mines on the main map, collected from resources buildings constructed within your base and taken from other players bases and fleets.
The amount of resources collected from salvage fleets, elite fleets, resources mines and resource buildings will depend on the level of the deposit or fleet. While the amount of resources collected from players will depend on the amount of resources they have on their fleet or within their base and the buildings destroyed and your attacking fleet cargo capacity. While attacking a base, your fleet can hold 500% of it's regular cargo capacity. If your hit would have stolen more than 500%, that extra resource is kept by the defending player and not dumped into the sea.
Destroying an opponents Outpost grants an immediate gain of 20% of the total resources a player has in their base. For each Warehouse destroyed, 10% is stolen. Some players who are part of alliances, actually place their Warehouses on the outside land of their base to gift the resources to a play who requires it as they could be at max or still out salvaging.
Cleaning up salvages on the map is a good way to earn resources without the trouble of killing the enemy ships. Be aware of the original owner having a fleet nearby. If all your ships are destroyed, you can still place your 5 largest cargo hold ships in a fleet and so long as the flagship has enough health, you can still launch the fleet and gain the cargo capacity of all 5 ships.
|Level||Estimated Salvage Amount||Appears Near Base Level||Blueprints Tier|
|1||25,000||1 - 2||-|
|3||54,000||3 - 6||
|12||190,000||12 - 16||1|
|17||330,000||17 - 22||1|
|23||640,000||23 - 30||2|
|31||1,200,000||31 - 38||2|
|40||2,350,000||39 - 50||3|
|51||4,250,000||51 - 70||3|
This is a rough guide, the actual salvage fleet level is dependance on the level of bases surrounding a location. It seems that every base has 2 salvage fleet every hour.
|Elite Salvage Fleets|
|Level||Estimated Salvage Amount||Appears Near Base Level||Draconian Fleet Level||Blueprints Tier|
When breaking open a salvage fleet you will end up with:
- 22.7% Oil
- 23.8% Metal
- 25.2% Energy
- 28.3% Zynthium
Mines are defended by Draconian fleets which attack your mining fleet about once an hour.
|Level||Estimated Amount from Defence Fleet||Mining Per Min||Prodution Bonus||Draconian Fleet Level||Tier|
|7||12,000||1,823||15%||5 Corvettes (equal not exist in salvage fleet as far as I know)||-|
The only level 71 mines are for Zynthium. The production bonus of the mines stack. If you hold 4 Level 71 Zynth mines. Your Zynth production on base will increase 200% more. So you will produce three times more Zynth.
GoldEditWith Facebook credits dieing when the Company became a PLC, Kixeye introduced the Gold system. Similar to Facebook Credits, the gold was awarded directly through Kixeye and is now a compensation tool for errors caused to players which can be placed at Kixeyes blame.
Not all players get gold and many submit large numbers of tickets and get no rewards at all.
