One of the more common Interceptor builds will probably be for anti-sub duty. Note that the Interceptor's built-in thermal imaging detection range of 68 would exceed its Sonar capability even if you add the Sonar III special. Therefore, you would waste a special slot if you decide to go with a Sonar special on this hull.

Similarily, the Interceptor has built-in Retargeting, thus you would be wasting a special slot were you to fit this hull with Laser Guidance. Retarget already has the capability to hit fully submerged subs once they are detected (assuming you have the proper weapon type mounted such as missiles or torpedoes; cannons cannot hit a sub underwater). Its 90% penetrative reload is obvioulsy ideal for fitting missile weapons on this hull.

A full Interceptor ship build is 13 to 15 days.

The Interceptor V2-H was the only hull made availible in the Frostbite raid, and can be redeemed for 5.5 Million points. Unlike the Kodiak, it is a tier IV prize, not top tier.

Second ship in-game to have Thermal Imaging after the Viper Interdictor.

Has an unreactive trait allows debuff including radioactive accumulation to dissipate faster, making it more difficult to trigger a shockwave.

Combined with its high evade and unreactive ability, triggering a shockwave is considerably more difficult on this hull. Interceptor hull was a T4 prize (5.5M pts.) in the Sept. 2014 Frostbite Raid.
