The Armor Bypass Module allows an Arbiter to detect defense flaws in a fleet, therefore creating a field around the Arbiter and allowing a Captain to b ypass a percentage of an enemy fleet’s damage resistances.
This module also increases both the combat speed and armor value of the Arbiter.
Tactical Use: This hostile field is best used against ships with high damage resistances. Although this makes decent offensive support, consider the defensive use of stripping away a blitzing fleet’s explosive defenses leaving it open to rocket and mortar fire.
